Twin Bridge Inspections

Kentucky and Indiana teamed up today to do an inspection of the US-41 twin bridges. The walk-through inspection started Friday morning. Its an annual task shared by transportation officials from both states. Inspectors walk the deck and check out things beneath the structure from the ground. This years inspection was a little more complicated due to the bridges ongoing maintenance and painting project. A more throrough inspection will happen later in the year by engineering consultants.
