Bank Robber Wanted in Owensboro

Owensboro High school was put on lockdown Wednesday after a bank robbery. Police are still looking for the suspect. The incident happened around 11 a.m. at the Kentucky Trust Bank at 1819 Frederica Street. Police say the suspect gave the bank clerk a note that said "cash or die." Heres the description: Police are looking for a white male with sandy blonde hair. Hes believed to be in his late 20s, early 30s, around 170 pounds and 61"-62". They say he was wearing a yellow t-shirt with a hat and sunglasses at the time. Witnesses told police the suspect stashed the money in a yellow bag and left on foot heading toward 19th street.
