State Police Arrest 17-Year-Old Male Juvenile for Committing Burglary

Posey County – Friday morning, September 28, Master Trooper Frank Smith launched a criminal investigation after receiving information that a burglary had occurred at 10350 Mill Street, Cynthiana. The homeowner reported an electric guitar signed by Jimmy Buffett and approximately $20 in change had been taken. During the investigation, it was determined that a 17-year-old male juvenile gained access into the residence through an unlocked kitchen window and stole the items. The juvenile also allegedly stole various items from two unlocked vehicles in Poseyville early Thursday morning, September 27th. At approximately 1:30 p.m. Friday afternoon, Master Trooper Frank Smith arrested the juvenile at his residence in Cynthiana and transported him to the Youth Care Center in Evansville.
On August 6, Master Trooper Frank Smith arrested the same juvenile for burglarizing three residences in Northeast Posey County and one residence in Northwest Vanderburgh County.
