
A Tennessee man pleaded guilty to his role in the murder and robbery of an Owensboro jewelry store owner.
57-year old Samuel Garrett was killed in the March 2006 shooting at the jewelry chest.
25 year old Miguel Velazquez of Madison, Tennessee entered the guilty plea Tuesday.
He was charged with manslaughter and second-degree robbery.
A 30-year prison sentence has been recommended.
Police believe Velazquez and three others shot Garrett to death and stole items from the store. The other three men have trial dates for later this year.
