Half Marathon

Its not quite a marathon, but thousands ran more than 13 miles Sunday through the city of Evansville. They were running in the 4th annual Evansville Half Marathon. The 13.1 mile race started at Reitz Hill, traveled through Garvin Park, Bosse Field, the Greenway and finished on the Riverfront. Jeff Powers from Bloomington was first to cross the finish line at 1 hour and 13 seconds. All of the proceeds from the half marathon go to benefit youth programs at the YMCA.
