Vectren: Winter Heating Bills Stay the Same

Evansville based energy provider Vectren says natural gas bills this winter should be "flat" compared to last year. Their projection for an average customer using natural gas heat estimates usage of 570 therms at a cost of $635. That estimate can vary widely based on the size of your home, where you set your thermostat, and of course, how cold it gets this winter. Vectren is urging customers to log on to their Conservation Connection web site to find ways to cut costs this winter.
