Homade Bomb Injuries Owensboro Woman

A pair of homemade bombs gave an Owensboro woman a powerful and painful jolt late Wednesday night.
Tara Velotta went to the hospital for injuries she suffered when an explosive blew up in her face.
A pair of 19-year olds have been arrested in connection with the attack.
Owensboro police believe Justin Alexander and Amy Rodgers tossed two bottle bombs into Velotta's yard.
She picked up one of the bottles, thinking it was trash.
That's when it exploded.
The second bottle bomb blew up next to her.
Both teens have been charged with second degree assault.
