BARNETT2007-10-12-1192239958.JPGThe man hunt is over for an alleged rape suspect in Evansville. The Evansville Public Information Officer says Cameus Barnett turned himself in to police this evening. Investigators say Barnett broke into a house on South Villa just before noon Friday, raped a woman, then held her against her will for a short time. He apparently ran away when she told Barnett that the neighbors would be home in a few minutes. Barnett lives about a block away from where the rape occurred. The manhunt prompted at least one school -- the Montessori Academy -- to go into lockdown.
