Hands Are For Holding Not Hitting

 From: Albion Fellows Bacon Center October is domestic violence awareness month. Did you know that domestic violence affects one in four families in Indiana. Research shows that 50% of girls living in violent homes will become victims of partner abuse. 85% of teen boys living with violence will be abusive toward their partners. Albion Fellows Bacon Center and the Children’s Museum of Evansville will be joining forces on Saturday October 20th from 12 – 3 p.m. CMOE families are welcomed to join Albion in creating a canvas of hands which state Hands are for Holding not Hitting. The finished canvas will be displayed in the museum for future visitors to see. Come join us on October 20th and take a stand against family violence.
