Flu season is approaching and some folks are already getting their shots.
A number of them showed up Monday at the Visiting Nurse Association on East Walnut Street.
Many come back every year to get their flu shot but VNA Services Manager John Welcher worries that some wont.
He fears many may put it off because of the warm weather or because this year there is no vaccination shortage.
He say people might get a little complacent and not get their flu shot.
The cost to get a flu shot at the VNA is 25 dollars.
Welcher says the VNA expects to give at least 13-thousand flu vaccinations in the next four weeks.
