From: Remembering November 6th Committee:
November 6 is fast approaching. To mark the 2nd anniversary of the deadly tornado, and the 25 lives lost, the Remembering November 6th Committee will host a reflection event. The community is invited to join us on Tuesday, November 6, 2007, at the Lock and Dam, Hwy. 66 toward Alcoa starting at 5:30 pm. Just before sunset, we will have Roger Burns speak. Then as we read the names of those who died, balloons will be released over the river. At dusk we will join together in prayer and lighting candles. We will have time for people to visit with each other.
