Third Baptist Church Service Moves Outdoors

The congregation of the Owensboro Third Baptist Church held Sunday service in the parking lot.
The church was badly damaged after Thursdays tornado caused a bell tower to crash into the sanctuary.
So on Sunday members gathered to hear a message about hope and moving forward.
Church Member Russ Page says sometimes things that happen to you and you think it was meant for the worst, but God meant it for good. Pastor of the church, James Byrd, says he hopes to have the next service in the gymnasium after needed repairs.
He says hes had offers from other pastors in the area to hold programs or services in their churches.
