Cat Blamed For Starting House Fire
(Liberty) -- A cat is being blamed for starting a house fire in Union County.
The feline knocked over a lighted oil lamp, resulting in a fire on the floor.
The homeowner called for help after realizing she could not put the blaze out by herself.
Fire damages have been set at 40-thousand-dollars.
Most of the first floor was destroyed.
Firefighters from Liberty and College Corner put the blaze out on Sunday afternoon.
