Police are learning more about a deadly car crash that killed two adults and three children along Interstate 69.
It happened late Sunday afternoon near Muncie.
Eleven others were hurt.
Many of them belonged to an Amish community.
Police say the 16-passenger van they were traveling in veered across the median and flipped, tearing the roof off and ejecting several passengers.
Seven medical helicopters were dispatched to the scene.
The cause of the crash is under investigation, but police are investigating tire failure.
Generally, the Amish do not use technology such as cars.
They do however, sometimes hire non-Amish people to drive them in motor vehicles.
