The city of Owensboro is relaxing some of its rules to help residents trying to clean up from Thursdays storm.
The city will extend and expand its limb and brush collection season for two more weeks.
The deadline was October 19, but that dates now been pushed back until November second.
Theyll accept any yard waste thats placed curbside on your normal trash collection day.
Other pick-up rules are being relaxed, also.
Theres normally a 6-inch restriction on storm-related yard waste, but not this time around.
The city of Owensboro does want to remind people that private contractors should still be brought in to collect any material they plan on cutting or using.
