A fisherman died Wednesday afternoon after the boat he was in took on too much water. Authorities say 22 year old Timothy Cardwell was fishing with his friend, Christopher Buchanan, at the Bluegrass Fish and Wildlife area in northwest Warrick County. Their boat began taking on water around 1:30 and Buchanan says the two jumped off to swim to shore. He made it, but he couldnt find Cardwell. Unfortunately, Buchanan didnt have a cell phone and couldnt call authorities right away. Crews found Cardwells body at 4:30 that afternoon. Indiana Conservation officer Mike Kellner says the witnesss description of the scenario and showing officers where it happened helped divers make a quick recovery.
