UPDATE -- The Vanderburgh County Corner has just released the name of the man who was shot at McDaniel Auto Salvage yard on Middle Mt. Vernon Road.
He is 49 year old Randall Choate of Evansville.
The corner says he died from blood loss due to gunshot wounds.
The time of death was anywhere from 9 to 10:30 Friday morning.
As of right now police have not made any arrest.

Investigators say a death in western Vanderburgh County looks like murder.
Sheriffs deputies came to McDaniel Auto Salvage late Friday morning after a 911 call.
They found a middle aged white man who apparently had been shot several times.
An autopsy is in the works right now and the victims identity is expected to be released once thats finished.
Sheriff Eric Williams says investigators have a suspect, but have not made an arrest yet.
The Sheriff believes the victim and the suspected shooter knew each other.
No weapon has been recovered yet, but Williams says there are plenty of places to stash a gun in an auto salvage yard.
