This weekends championship win for the memorial high school boys soccer team was a huge accomplishment. They arrived at Evansvilles Reitz Memorial high school aboard a fire truck to crowds cheering them on. The boys soccer team came back from Indianapolis as state champions for the 11th time in the programs history. Its was the sort of homecoming usually reserved for sports like football. While players and alumni gathered here at Memorial are excited about the championship and what it means for the sport.
