Boy Scout's Request for 10 Commandments at Henderson Courthouse Rejected

Was a Boy Scouts mission to put the ten commandments on display in a Henderson County courthouse all for not?
Boy scout Ian Gerard came up with the idea for the project as a way to earn his Eagle Scout status, but now, the Boy Scouts of America has reportedly rejected the project because it doesnt include working with other scouts, criteria for the project.
It had first been rejected by the county, but Gerard continued his quest and had even gained support from many members of the community and the Governor.
