Ohio Township Fire Contract

Ohio township is looking to reorganize its contract with the fire department. Tonight township trustees said they will continue fire services on a month to month basis if they cant agree on a contract. Last month trustee Lorraine Wittenbraker notified the fire department it would not renew the current contract. That concerned firefighters. Wittenbraker says her intent wasnt to get rid of the departments but write a new contract that is similar to Chandler and Newburghs fire departments.
The departments contract ends on December 31st.
