The city of Evansville is moving forward with the Center City Industrial Park in Pigeon Township. Mayor Jonathan Weinzapfel says the next step is to ask the redevelopment commission to declare the park a redevelopment area. The park is designed to rejuvenate a blighted area, retain existing industry, and attract new business. The industrial park is located west of Fulton, north of Maryland, east of Pigeon Creek, and south of Florence. There will be informational meetings Tuesday morning at 10 and Thursday evening at six at Asbury United Methodist Church.
