After four hours of deliberation, a jury finds an Evansville lawyer facing felony counts of dealing and conspiring to deal meth not guilty.
30 year old Brad Happe was cleared on all charges yesterday after a two- day trial in Vanderburgh Superior Court.
Happe was charged in March after police found ingredients commonly associated with the manufacture of meth at his law office on New Harmony Road.
A police informant testified that the lawyer made plans to manufacture the drug but the jury found Happe not guilty.
Happe says he feels relieved that the jury found that he was innocent and that they believed he was entrapped by Evansville police.
He says he plans to continue drug rehabilitation and to get his license to practice law again.
