Indiana State Police will be in full force during the next two weeks, looking for those violating traffic laws.
The two week enforcement blitz, which begins today is called Safety Family Travel.
Its purpose is to detect and deter impaired and dangerous driving behaviors that put Indiana motorists at risk.
According to the Indiana Criminal Justice Insitute, 87 people died in auto accidents last year between Thanksgiving and the New Year holiday.
