breaking news
Water blasted 30 feet into the air Monday after construction crews struck a water main.
It happened on Saint Joe Avenue.
A back hoe struck the water main around 2:30 that afternoon and created a geyser thirty feet high.
Crews worked quickly to stop the hemorrhaging.
It was a messy job though.
One worker grabbed some tools and jumped into waist deep water.
In a couple of minutes, he had the water main break under control.
