Golden Corral Thanks Veterans

Military veterans had their own night at the area Golden Corral restaurants. The night was set aside to honor all active duty and retired military personnel. The military appreciation "thank you" dinner provided them with free food and beverages. The restaurant on Evansvilles west side was so busy folks were having to wait in long lines. Since 2001, the restaurant chain has served over 1.2 million free meals to active duty and veteran military personnel. Theyve also raised nearly 1.4 million dollars for the Disabled American Veterans Organization.
