Vanderburgh County Commissioners gave tri-state cyclists some good news.
Commissioners announced that the bike path connecting Burdette Park to the University of Southern Indiana will get a whopping $1 million grant.
The money comes from INDOT as part of their transportation enhancement grant.
Commissioner Troy Tornatta says the grants a great way to bring in outside funding for the county.
Tornatta says the million dollars will help finish the last two phases of the bike path which should take about two more years to complete.
