The Patoka Indiana mom charged with neglect remains in jail under a $100,000 surety bond.
Police arrested Vanessa Robinson Thursday.
They say in March she showed up at the hospital complaining of abdominal pains, but doctors were able to determine she had recently given birth.
The body of the dead child was found in her basement.
The coroner says the baby died of suffocation.
Robinson is due back in court November 26th.
