Shopping for Thanksgiving dinner this year might require a little more from the pocketbooks.
A recent study on popular thanksgiving food items show that prices in many cases have gone up.
The Indiana Farm Bureaus annual survey showed the average cost of this years dinner for a family of 10 is more than 47 dollars... up more than 12 dollars from last year.
The price of turkey jumped more than 53 cents a pound,cranberry sauce and ingredients for pumpkin pie are also up.

Utley says she shops around and gets coupons from the internet.
The survey points to rising fuel costs as the major reason for the increase in food costs.
Because it costs more manufacture and transport foods those costs are then passed on.
And though many complain about having to pay more many say they still wont cut back.
There is good news though.
According to the American Farm Bureau Federation the real cost of thanksgiving dinner has actually declined in the last 20 years.
