Detective Arrested

A Henderson police detective is picked up by Kentucky State Troopers for allegedly driving under the influence. Detective Shannon Troutman reportedly arrested in the parking lot of Wal-Mart in Henderson just before 3:00 this morning. His vehicle was stopped for suspicion of being involved in a hit and run involving another vehicle. The accident occurred on Green Street with the driver side-swiping another car then leaving the scene. So far, Troutman has only been charged with an aggravated DUI The investigation of the hit and run will go to the county attorney for review
