THREE PEOPLE GOT HURT AND TWO ARE FACING CHARGES AFTER A PAINTBALL SHOOTING SPREE. 21 YEAR OLD JUSTIN STEELE AND 22 YEAR OLD MICHAEL BRISTOW ARE EACH FACING 6 CHARGES - INCLUDING FELONY COUNTS OF BATTERY WITH A DEADLY WEAPON AND CRIMINAL RECKLESSNESS. THE FIRST VICTIM OF THESE PAINTBALL ASSAULTS HAPPENED HERE OUTSIDE THE SIDE TRACK TAVERN. POLICE SAY WAYNE FORSTON WAS WALKING OUT THE FRONT DOOR OF THE BAR WHEN HE WAS SHOT. HE THOUGHT IT WAS FROM A REAL GUN - BUT IT TURNED OUT TO BE A PAINTBALL THAT HIT ONLY TWO INCHES FROM HIS LEFT EYE. FORSTONS LEFT EAR WAS SLICED OPEN. THE SECOND SHOOTING HAPPENED JUST DOWN THE STREET INFRONT OF 606 E ILLINOIS. MATTHE JOCHIN TOLD POLICE HE WAS WALKING DOWN THE STREET WHEN HE WAS SHOT IN THE BACK WITH A PAINTBALL LEAVING A LARGE BRUISE. THE ASSAULTS DIDNT END THERE. BRISTOW AND STEELE ALLEGEDLY DROVE DOWN A FEW BLOCKS TO GOVERNOR WHERE THEY STARTED SHOOTING AT MATTHEW LEONARDS HOME. BOTH BRISTOW AND STEELE ARE SCHEDULED BACK IN COURT AT THE END OF THE WEEK FOR FORMAL SENTENCING. POLICE SAY A 14 YEAR OLD WAS ALSO IN THE CAR - POLICE HAVENT SAID IF THEYRE CHARGING THAT PERSON WITH ANYTHING YET.
