A Tennessee man was sentenced to 30 years in prison for his role in the murder and robbery of an Owensboro jewelry store owner.
25 year old Miguel Velazquez of Madison Tennessee entered a guilty plea last month.
He was charged with manslaughter and second-degree robbery in the death of 57-year old Samuel Garrett.
Garrett died in the March 2006 shooting at the Jewelry Chest.
Police believe Velazquez and three others shot Garrett to death and also stole items from the store.
