A Vincennes man learned the price hell pay for trying to outrun the law: 4 years in the Gibson County jail!
34 year old Matthew Taylor pleaded guilty in Gibson Circuit court to two counts of resisting law enforcement and reckless driving, among other charges.
Last july - taylor refused to stop when a fort branch police officer tried to pull him over for speeding. Thats when the high speed chase ensued.
Taylor has a prior record in Texas.
Judge Jeff Meade gave Taylor the maximum sentence of four years.
