The robbery of a pizza delivery driver lands five men in jail. Pizza hut employee George Wolf told Evansville Police while he was delivering a pizza, three black males approached him, took cash from his pocket, the pizza, and his flashlight. A few hours later, police received another call of an attempted robbery and assault on the UE campus. The victim, David Riedford was able to get away--go to a nearby fraternity house--and call security. Police say they later stopped a vehicle and found five suspects matching the description along with evidence from the robbery. Michael Davis and Thaddaus Summers Jr. were arrested on armed robbery charges in connection with the pizza robbery. Tydell Mcneal and Darion Sanners were charged with attempted armed robbery and battery in the UE case. A 5th man was arrested, because he is a juvenile, his name was not released.
