Evansville Child Neglect Arrest

CHRISTIEREAGAN2007-12-27-1198810182.JPG Vanderburgh county deputies have arrested an Evansville doctor and her husband for allegedly leaving their 18 month old son in their mini-van while shopped. Timothy and Dr. Christine Regan are charged with child neglect. Deputies were dispatched to kohls department store around five thirty last night when bystanders noticed a small child crying in the mini-van. Family members now have custody of the boy. Dr. Christine Regan is doctor at Saint Mary's family medicine center on Washington Ave. St. Mary spokeswoman Cathy Fulkerson says Dr. Regan was not scheduled to work this week - and they will be completeing a full assessment of the situation when she returns.
