OFS Expansion

A Dubois county office furniture company announced plans for a major expansion.
OFS Brands Holdings says it will create more than 300 new jobs by 2012.
The jobs include production associates, supervisors, and upholsters and technicians.
The jobs will require some of the same skills laid off workers at Masterbrand already have.
At least 260 Masterbrand jobs were cut last week in Jasper, Ferdinand, and Huntingburg.
OFS CEO, Hank Menke says a lot of those jobs will probably be absorbed in some of the operations that they doing right now.
He says they are currently adding people to their staff.
Menke says the office furniture business is doing well.
Masterbrand makes kitchen and cabinet furniture for a failing home construction market.
