BIG BROTHERS BIG SISTERS OF THE OHIO VALLEY ACCEPTS DONATION FROM THE MAN EVENT

EVANSVILLE, Ind. – Evansville Living magazine and South Central Communications are donating proceeds to Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Ohio Valley from The Man Event held in late September. Proceeds from ticket sales totaled $1,000 and according to Martha Schriver, new executive director at Big Brothers Big Sisters, will go toward the purchase of new computer systems which will better store information on the child/volunteer matches. The Man Event was held on the evening of September 27 at the Evansville Country Club and sponsored by Deaconess Health Systems and Kenny Kent Lexus. The evening enabled men to learn the latest on topics such as luxury vehicles, cutting-edge technology, top-shelf beverages, fine menswear, sporting activities and much more. Stay tuned for information on 2008’s Man Event which is sure to be even bigger and better.
