County Commissioner Facing Theft Charges

A Daviess County Indiana County Commissioner faces charges of ghost employment, theft, and official misconduct. A special prosecutor says Jim Truelove mishandled county money. He is accused of buying crushed stone through the county, but using the stone for a company he owns. The stone was apparently purchased at the county rate, which would have been cheaper than the commercial rate. No word yet on when Truelove might make his first court appearance.
