A Vincennes business is set to close leaving more than 250 people without jobs. Superior Essex announced plans to close its Vincennes facility by this fall. The magnet wire and cable manufacturer says it will expand its Tennessee and Mexico facilities in the process. Superiror Essex says phasing out the Vincennes plant will allow the company to more efficiently meet the demand for magnet wire and cable. The closing also means that Concast workers at the plant will lose their jobs.. Those 29 workers were laid off indefinately back in December.
