(Washington, DC) -- Congressional leaders and the Bush administration have introduced 150-billion-dollar economic stimulus package.
The proposal features taxpayer rebates and business investment incentives.
Democratic House Speaker Nancy Pelosi called the deal a "middle class initiative" that will help working folks.
House Republican leader John Boehner 1/81/8BAY-nur3/83/8 called the deal as "simple, clean and neat."

Tornado Ruins Hangar At Naval Air Station
(Point Mugu, CA) -- A small tornado tore off the roof a hangar at the Point Mugu 1/81/8 Mah-Goo 3/83/8 Naval Air Station in Ventura County, California, last night.
Authorities said the twister began as a water spout over the ocean and came ashore around 7:15 p.m. Pacific time. It hit the base, causing an unspecified amount of damage but no injuries.
It eventually dissipated.

Ohio Representative To Leave Democratic Race For White House
(Cleveland, OH) -- A Cleveland newspaper is reporting that Ohio Representative Dennis Kucinich will get out of the Democratic Presidential race.
The "Cleveland Plain Dealer" said Kucinich will announce his departure at a news conference in Cleveland today.
The newspaper said he wants to "continue to serve in Congress." Kucinich wont endorse another Democrat in the Presidential primary race.

Flight Instructor Receives Five-Million-Dollar Reward For Moussaoui
(Washington, DC) -- The State Departments Rewards for Justice program has provided a Minnesota flight instructor a five-million-dollar reward for notifying his bosses of the suspicious behavior of student Zacarias Moussaoui.
Two government officials told CNN that Clarence "Clancy" Prevost received the award.
Moussaoui is the only person to be charged and convicted in connection with the 9-11 attacks on New York City and Washington, DC.
