Owensboro TIF Lawsuit Dead

The lawsuit against the city of Owensboro over the proposed Gateway Commons project has been dismissed.
Last month, plans for the project on Kentucky 54 were rejected when the state TIF commission refused to consider the citys application.
A group of residents calling themselves "Citizens for Public Accountability" filed suit last year, arguing that the more than $400 million project did not meet the states requirements to establish a TIF district.
