Evansville Storm Damage Advisory

News Release: Storm Damage Advisory (EVANSVILLE, IN) – The City of Evansville Street Maintenance Department reports this morning that there are three roads which are totally blocked by fallen trees or limbs. They are: Mount Auburn Road: between Buchanan Road and St. Joseph Avenue Buchanan Road: between St. Joseph Avenue and Maryland Street Evans Avenue: between Jefferson Avenue and Madison Avenue Street Maintenance also reports three roads which are partially blocked by fallen trees or limbs. They are: 319 Heritage 1416 Harmony Way Bell Road south of Maryland Avenue The blockage on Mount Auburn Road will be cleared first, then crews will work their way down the list. They estimate all of the work should be done by the end of the week. Crews were also out throughout the evening collecting and cutting up fallen limbs, then stacking them on the sides of roads and streets. Those will be picked up after all the streets are cleared. The Parks Department reports trees down in Garvin and Helfrich Parks. They are out doing complete damage assessment now. We will provide further details as we receive them.
