Residents of Fort Branch are among many others around the Tri-state, busy with clean up after Tuesdays storm.
Downed power lines still littered most of McCreary Street on Wednesday.
Vectren was on the scene early but there was still no power late in the day.
Homes throughout the area also suffered damages.
And at least one local trucking business had trucks overturned and parts of its roof torn off.
The local Red Cross was providing shelter for those without electricity.
The shelter is located at the fire station on Vine street.
