Dominos Allows Customers To Track Pizza
After ordering the pizza for your Super Bowl party on Sunday, you may be able to go online and track the pizzas progress.
Thats according to "USA Today," which say Dominos yesterday unveiled a technology called Pizza Tracker that lets customers literally track their pizza from the moment they place the order until it leaves the store.
Dominos claims that the online tracking system, available at Dominos.com, is accurate to within 40 seconds.
The system went online yesterday at 34-hundred Dominos outlets and will be in all stores by June 30th.
It even gives customers the first names of the workers who take their phone order and deliver their pizza, and asks customers to rate those employees.
The new tracking system wont be able to pinpoint how long it will take a customers order to get from the store to your home, but company officials say it should generally arrive within ten minutes after leaving the store.
