US & World Summary --- Patriots Fans Lament Teams Super Defeat (Amherst, MA) -- It appears the New England Patriots defeat in Super Bowl 42 in Arizona didnt go over all that well with their fans back home. University of Massachusetts police had to make seven arrests on campus in the aftermath of the New England Patriots stunning loss to the New York Giants. The Giants upset New England 17-14. Over 100 UMass police officers were on hand to help keep order, with assistance from State Police. --- Big Chapter In Presidential Race Just Day Away Its time to make the transition from Super Bowl Sunday to Super Tuesday. Tomorrow, voters head to the polls in over 20 states with a blend of primaries and caucuses taking place. Those who capture the most delegates will be the winners on Super Tuesday. Some states have winner-take-all contests. Other states, including California, award delegates according to voting results within congressional districts. --- Boy, Dad Missing After Mother, Baby Sister Murdered (Kansas City, KS) -- Police are looking for a three-year-old Kansas City boy, after his mother and baby sister were found murdered. Relatives found the woman and the infant shot to death in their home yesterday morning. Her SUV was found several blocks away, abandoned. Investigators are calling the dead womans estranged husband a person-of-interest. Authorities issued an AMBER Alert last night for Seth Guerrero as they continue hunting for his 23-year-old father Andrew. --- Teenager Charged With Killing Entire Family (Cockeysville, MD) -- A teenage boy has been arrested and charged in the murders of his father, mother and two younger brothers just outside Baltimore. The "Baltimore Sun" reports police arrested 15-year-old Nicholas Browning early yesterday morning after officers discovered the bodies of 45-year-old John Browning, 44-year-old Tamara Browning and his brothers, 13-year-old Gregory and eleven-year-old Benjamin. Baltimore County police say the boy admitted using a handgun to kill his father and the rest of his family on Friday night. He said he had gotten into an argument with his father. --- Hearing Set In Ferrari Crash Case (Los Angeles, CA) -- The Swedish businessman who pleaded no contest in 2006 to charges connected with a crash in Malibu, California that destroyed a million-dollar Ferrari has a restitution hearing set for today in Los Angeles. Following that plea, the judge in the case immediately sentenced Bo Stefan Eriksson to three years in state prison, plus an additional six months for DUI charges related to the crash. Once he serves his prison time, Eriksson will be deported and not allowed to reenter the United States. --- Church To Announce New President Today (Salt Lake City, UT) -- The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints announces today in the lobby of the Church Office Building in Salt Lake City the successor to President Gordon Hinckley. Traditionally the senior member of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles has become the next church president. President Thomas S. Monson is the senior apostle. Hinckley passed away last week at age 97. --- Arizona Kid Lands Surprise Super Bowl Tickets (Scottsdale, AZ) -- Eleven-year-old Drew Fockler had a Super Sunday he will likely never forget. He and his father John were enjoying the action at the FBR Open golf tournament in Scottsdale, Arizona when the two were approached by Phil Mickelsons caddie Jim "Bones" Mackay 1/81/8 muh-KYE 3/83/8. The caddie asked the kid if he liked football and before he could answer, the little guy from Flagstaff had a special gift in his hands -- a pair of tickets to Super Bowl 42. Thats right. The kid and his dad not only saw the final round of play at the FBR Open, they also landed a pair of seats to the Super Bowl which was played less than an hour away at the University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale.
