Super Bowl Sees Six-Percent Ratings Increase
Ratings numbers are looking good for Sundays Super Bowl on Fox.
According to early data from Nielsen Media Research, the big game averaged a 36-point-five, 55 share, a six-percent increase on last year.
The numbers peaked early in the game to a 41-point-two rating, 63 share and then dipped around halftime.
They went back up to 40-point-five rating, 59 share late in the game when the New York Giants scored their winning touchdown to beat the New England Patriots.
Exactly how many people watched the broadcast has not yet been released.
There has been buzz that the game could be the most-watched Super Bowl of all time.
