Clearing City Roads

Is the city of Evansville doing a good enough job in cleaning up the ice and snow?
Thats what some residents are asking.
Both the Mayors office and the Evansville Transportation Department say theyve gotten their share of complaints, but claim some residents dont understand which roads they are responsible for clearing and the order that they do it.
The Lloyd and Diamond Avenue are state roads which are cleared by the state.
The city is responsible for roads like 1st Avenue, Virginia Street and Lincoln Avenue then secondary roads and streets with schools.
Some residents on Alvord Avenue had trouble getting their cars out but still believe the citys done a good job under the conditions.
Thursdays temperatures are expected to reach close to 50 degrees and city officials hope that will help clear all roads.
