Tropicana Maybe, Aztar No

Still no buyer for Casino Aztar. A New York area businessman says he is not interested in the Evansville boat. Joseph Palladino is bidding on another Columbia-Sussex property, the Tropicana in Atlantic City. Columbia Sussex is selling both properties, plus a casino in Mississippi to avoid bankruptcy. Colony Capital is also bidding on the Tropicana, but hasnt said if its interested in Casino Aztar. A spokesperson for Mayor Jonathan Weinzapfels office says it has talked with potentially interested buyers for Aztar but would not name any of those parties.
