One injured in school-bus collision
(Webster County) A teen was injured today when the vehicle in which he was a passenger collided with a school bus in Webster County this morning. It reportedly happened about 9:30 a.m. when a car driven by 17-year-old Jordan Davis of Clay crossed the center line east on Highway 1340 and hit the front corner of an oncoming school bus. The impact forced the car off the road and into the ditch, while the bus left the shoulder and struck several trees. A passenger in the car - 15-year-old Trevor Shoulders of Clay - was taken to a local hospital with injuries. His condition was not known. Neither the driver of the bus or any of the 13 students on board were injured, according to authorities. They said no charges are pending in the crash.
