Survey: Majority Of People Avoid Sex When Suffering Headaches
(Chicago, IL) -- The next time your spouse uses the old headache excuse to turn down sex, know that you are likely not alone that night.
A new study from the National Headache Foundation shows almost seven out of ten people have avoided sex because of headaches.
About half of those people say that avoidance has caused a strain on their relationship.
In addition, 47-percent of respondents say they have experienced a headache brought on by sex.
Despite all these problems, only 13-percent of people who suffer headaches have spoken to their doctors about those pains associated with sex.
The foundation says taking a pain reliever and using massages before getting intimate will do wonders to stop those headaches from occurring.
