breaking news
Two inmates escaped from the Warrick County Jail Sunday night.
They are Larry Miller and Josh Ridings.
Miller was caught around 12:45 a.m. at a vacant home in Boonville, where hes from, but Ridings is still on the loose.
So how did they get out?
Surveillance video of the jailyard shows Miller and Ridings coming out a door, thats normally locked, into the jailyard. They look around for a minute with no guards in sight.
Then one hoisted the other onto what looks like a small ledge.
The man on the ground whipped out a sheet that was under his clothes and threw it up to the man on the ledge.
The first man used it to pull the 2nd escapee up. They both then disappear over the razor wire and onto the roof.
It didnt take long for guards to notice something was amiss.
Police found a green Ford Escape near the Daviess County High School in Owensboro, but no Josh Ridings.
They believe Ridings ditched the stolen SUV, but might still be in that area. He is from Owensboro.
He was last seen wearing a bright orange jumpsuit. Ridings stands around 55", weighs about 145 pounds and has brown hair and brown eyes.
Ridings is also wanted for sexual crimes in Leitchfield, KY, Ohio, and West Virginia. He allegedly took an 11 year old girl from West Virginia to Ohio where he sexually assaulted her.
If you have any information, please call the police. Several agencies are joining together to search for him.
